in association with loyola Marymount university m-school.

as part of the New World of Branding and Advertising course, offered by LMU's M-School, my group was tasked to address a challenge associated with one of the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Focusing on Good Health and Well-Being (SDG3), we created the Anti Phub Club, with a goal to end phubbing.

phub (verb): ignore (one’s companion or companions) in order to pay attention to one’s phone or other mobile device.

the solution

“Phub around and find out”

with receiving $750 in funding, crafted nfc-programmed membership cards. if someone is phubbing you, tap their phone with the card and it directs them to our website, where they are presented with a dare that’s so embarrassing, they won’t want to touch their phone again.
